Senior Climbing Guide / Expedition leader

Mr. Pema Sherpa, one of our company’s highly respected affiliated climbing guides, was born on 23 August 1973 in Pathivara-01, Sankhuwasabha, eastern Nepal. He began his career in the trekking industry as a porter at the age of 18 and steadily progressed to become one of the most experienced and trusted Sherpa guides on our team.

With over 30 years of extensive experience in mountaineering expeditions, peak climbing, and trekking, Mr. Pema is known for his unwavering dedication, professionalism, and commitment to client safety and satisfaction. His deep knowledge of high-altitude environments and strong leadership make him an invaluable asset on every expedition.

He has received professional training from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), Tourism Training Center, and KEEP (Kathmandu Environmental Education Project), along with specialized training in rock climbing, ice climbing, and first aid. He is also a certified peak climbing guide accredited by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA), further highlighting his expertise and qualifications.

Mr. Phurba Sherpa

Mr. Phurba Sherpa was born on 29 June 1989 in Pathivara-01, Sankhuwasabha, in eastern Nepal. He began his journey in the trekking and mountaineering industry as a porter, gaining valuable field experience for two years before becoming a climbing guide at the age of 20.

With over 12 years of extensive experience in mountaineering expeditions, peak climbing, and trekking, he has developed into a highly skilled, active, and dedicated climbing guide. He is certified as a peak climbing guide by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA).

His professional development includes guide training from the Nepal Academy of Tourism and Hotel Management (NATHM), an introductory mountaineering course from NMA, and first aid training from the Trekking Agencies’ Association of Nepal (TAAN). These qualifications have further strengthened his expertise and reliability in high-altitude guiding.

Mr. Phurba Sherpa has an impressive record of successful summits, including:

Known for his calm personality, professionalism, and strong leadership in high-altitude environments, he plays a vital role in ensuring the safety and success of every expedition.

He is a certified peak climbing guide accredited by the Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) and has built an impressive career through years of hands-on experience in mountaineering and expedition guiding. His commitment, responsibility, and passion for the mountains have earned him the trust of both teammates and clients.
