The Langtang Lirung Expedition is an exciting, extreme, and challenging expedition. Langtang Lirung is the highest peak within the Langtang mountain range in Nepal and stands tall at 7,227m ( 7.227km). This mountain is surrounded by Trishuli Gandaki valley in the west, SunKoshi valley in the east, and the renowned Shishapangma Peak in the west.

- The usual route to the summit of Langtang Lirung involves setting up base camp at an altitude of around 5,300 meters (17,388 feet), and then establishing several higher camps as the climb progresses. Difficulty to climb
Langtang Lirung is as hard as it can get. The geography and the massive height of the mountain pose challenges. The large south side of this mountain is one of the hinders that the climbers have to face while attempting to reach the top. One needs to be both mentally and physically prepared for this trip. Because of the great difficulties on the way, only 14 attempts have been made to date. Out of which, only one has been successful. The climb is as thrilling and adventurous as it can get but, the difficulties are of another level. One needs to be well prepared and guided with sharp technical climbing skills. Climbers also need to have previous experience of mountaineering before signing up for this trip.

When is Langtang Lirung usually climbed?

How long does it take to climb Langtang Lirung?
Climbing Langtang Lirung might be an adventurous, thrilling and self-refreshing activity. Yet its massive height makes it dangerous too. During these 34 days, it takes about ten days to reach the base camp.

Requirement
- The climbers should get themselves tested to make sure they are healthy enough to climb the mountains.
- A visit to the dentist is also recommended as there is a chance of acute dental problems at high altitudes.
- It is also highly recommended that the climbers should have some previous experiences with mountaineering and with high altitudes.
- It is also requested that the climbers should workout a bit months before ascending the mountain.
Payment and cancellation
Policy regarding Payment and Cancellation Payment:
Payment:
1) To confirm a reservation, a deposit equal to 30% of the total price is required.
2) If the payment is made online, the remaining balance is due 10 days before the Tour, Trekking, Peak Climbing, or Expedition begins. If the payment is made in cash, it can be made after arrival. 3) If the booking is made within 30 days of the expedition beginning, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Cancellation:
1)A full refund of the deposit will be given if a Tour, Trek, Peak Climbing, or Expedition is canceled more than 60 days before the start date.
2)The deposit will not be refunded if a Tour, Trek, Peak Climbing, or Expedition is canceled within 30 days of its start date.
3)A tour, trek, peak climbing, or expedition will not be refunded if it is canceled prior to or on the start date.
4)All participants should strongly consider purchasing travel insurance to cover any unforeseen cancellations or other occurrences.
Note: We reserve the right to modify or cancel any trek in the event of a natural disaster, political unrest, or any other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, a full refund or an alternative option will be provided.

Expert cooks and porters will be there in the camp to assist you. The base camp will also have a bar and bakery. - Communication
Walkie talkie will be given to each member to communicate in between the base camp and the mountain. Internet access will also be granted. - Oxygen masks, bottles and regulators

It will be highly appreciated if the clients can make some tips and bonuses to the hardworking Sherpas and the base camp workers. - Extra services
Extra permit charge has to be paid if you wish to use a satellite phone and an extra $300 if you have to travel with an extra yak. Also, in case you have to return to Kathmandu and can’t wait for the trip to end then you have to bear all the travelling costs to Kathmandu yourself and also have to pay for extra days that you will spend in Kathmandu. In case you want any other services that are not mentioned above then you have to pay extra from your pocket.
