The gorge is located in between the Nepal-Tibet border and is one of the most popular spots. Many national and international tourists visit Nepal just for this thrilling Bungee jumping. The gorge itself has a height of 160m.
The jump takes place from Nepal’s longest suspension bridge and below is the beautiful Bhote Koshi River flowing. The best time for bungee jumping- even though this activity is possible any month throughout the year, the best time is September-May. From September-November you can enjoy the jumping on all days besides Monday while from December to January the jump is operated only 4 days of the week which are Saturday, Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday.
Since the place is close to the capital city Kathmandu, it is relatively easy to reach Bhote Koshi. It is 3 hours drive from Kathmandu along the Araniko highway. Once you cross the famous friendship bridge, you will arrive at the suspension bridge from where the bungee jumping is done.

Bungee jumping in Pokhara was just started in nm 2014, since then it has become one of the most famous spots for Bungee jumping in Nepal. This jump is also called the water touching jump, as you get to touch the water from the pond just below the jumping spot.
The jumping point or the cliff is located near the Tibetan camp, in the Kaski district. It is a steep cliff and 80 meters high. There is a 20 meters artificial pond just below the cliff. The average number of bungee jumping in Pokhara is 30-40 per day. Once you jump off the cliff, the view is mesmerizing, which will definitely leave your heart throbbing like never before. You can also do the jump with a friend or solo. After a few minutes of flying in the air, you will be picked by a boat down on the pond. Bungee jumping in Hemja is completely safe and secured. There are buses or mini-buses available from Kathmandu to Pokhara. Once you reach Pokhara lakeside, you can take a taxi to Hemja which generally takes 20 minutes.

Kushma bungee jump
Kushma Bungee jump is the world’s second-highest bungee jump with a height of 228m. The bridge itself is 520m long and connects the Parbat and Baglung districts. This is fascinating to know that the Kushma bungee jump is just 9m shorter than the world’s highest bungee jump. Many tourists from different parts of the world visit Nepal just for bungee jumping in Kushma and to experience the thrill. There are also other adventurous activities in Kushma like swing, Syk cycling, etc. Despite the challenges, bungee jumping in Kushma is completely safe and secured. You can get a bus from Kathmandu to Pokhara. From Pokhara, you can again take a bus or car to Baglung, Kushma. Kushma Bungee jump spot is just 60km far from Pokhara and takes almost 3 hours due to the road condition. From Kathmandu, it takes a total of 7 hours to reach Kushma.
The best time for bungee jumping- even though this activity can be done any month throughout the year, the best time is September-May. In the monsoon season, there is a higher chance of rainfall which is why it is best to avoid the monsoon season. The rest of the months provides a clear view of the sky and mountains.
