Mera Peak (6,476 m) is a popular trekking peak in Eastern Nepal. You can view five of the top 8,000 m peaks from the top and is considered one of the finest that you can find. This is a good peak as an introduction to mountaineering.

Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.

On the very first day of your trip, you will experience something truly Nepalese- a traditional Nepalese dinner. Rest assured that our representatives will be there to pick you up at the airport, help you check in to your hotel and then take you out for dinner.
You will spend the second-day sightseeing around Kathmandu - there’s the monkey temple, the Boudhanath Stupa, and some ancient heritages of Nepal to be visited. In the latter half of the afternoon, our guides will brief you and help you sort out all the equipment for the trip.
The flight to Lukla is one adventurous ride that you’re never going to forget. The flight is only 25 minutes long and you get so immersed in the view outside the airplane window that the flight will seem too short. However, do expect occasional bumps during your flight and sit tight when you’re about to land in the world’s most dangerous airport. The first trekking day is comparatively easy and the walk between Lukla and Paiya takes only 3 hours if you are a really good hiker. Since it is your first day trekking, you can walk leisurely and enjoy the scenery around you.
The trail now leads you up through forests of rhododendron and bamboo as you enjoy the views of the Dudhkoshi River and Dudhkoshi Himal, before reaching Pangkongama.
A day of gradual descents as you walk along a trail that passes through a rhododendron forest, some teahouses, hills, ridges until you reach Nigmsa.
The trail between Nigmsa and Chhatra Khola starts with a steep ascent through a narrow mountain trail before it climbs more gently through some more rhododendron forests.
Hike along the ridge of the Hinku Khola River and enjoy superb views of the Mera Peak and Hinku Valley as you reach Kothe.
Another day of hiking alongside the Hinku River under the shadows of the Mera peak. Overnight stay in Tangnag.
Acclimatize and explore the surrounding glaciers.
You’ll know what hard mountain trekking is today as you make your way through moraines and glaciers as you cross the 5,000 meter mark on your way to Khare.
The path is mostly steep throughout the entire trail. An early start makes sure you arrive at the Base Camp for lunch.
During this period you’ll stay for a few days in the Base Camp where your guides will help you prepare for the climb. You’ll be taught how to use your equipment and get familiar with technical climbing techniques. By Day 15 you’ll have made it to the summit and returned to Base Camp.
Hike into the wilderness of the Hongu mountain valley and explore the surrounding areas.
Cross the Amphu Lapcha Pass on your way to the Amphu Lapcha Base Camp.
Start early, stop at Pangboche for lunch and follow the trail with some ups and downs as you cross a forest, descend to the Imja Khola, cross over and then climb to Tengboche.
Start early, stop at Namche Bazaar for lunch and walk mostly downhill to Monjo. You will be amazed to see how short the descent is and will surely remember the day you struggled to climb up to Namche.
More downhill walking and some ascents will take you to Lukla, where you can celebrate your successful trek, get a chilled beer in one of the pubs or treat yourself to something sweet at the German bakery outside the airport
An early morning flight will take you to Kathmandu and you have the entire day to yourself. Eat as much as you want, go shopping or do nothing at all!
Again our representatives will be there to take you to the airport and bid you farewell.
